Bhopal Degree College was established in 1996 by its founder and chairman Dr. N.D. Rahi with an aim of making higher education available to all the deserving and the desirous students. It is christened after the name of Bhopal “ the city of lakes’’ and is an entity of ‘CRYNTE’. The college is located at Ashok Vihar which is well connected to every corner of Bhopal and is nearly 3 kms away from the Bhopal railway station.

Since inception in 1996, the college has constantly grown into stature. It has nurtured the talent of the students and taken them to new heights. The college has full-fledged governing body of eminent educationists, professionals and proficient faculty members to provide quality education skills and abilities to its students. It is a co-educational institution having both English and Hindi medium of instructions .

Various workshops, conferences, seminars, guest lectures and other educational programmes are organized from time to time so that students get aware of the latest developments in their field of study. The modern methodology of teaching is used to spark the learning interest in the students. The professional courses like D.El.Ed and B.Ed. are among its strengths which empowers its students with professional competence.

BDC is a testimony to the farsighted vision of its founder and chairman and his indefatigable enthusiasm to actualize his dream. Today, the new campus of the college is located at Bilkhiria kalan, Raisen Road Bhopal, which covers an area of 13 acres of land. The college building is established amidst beautiful scenary of natural environment in a peaceful and pleasant location with a vision to provide a centre for academic excellence and achievements.
